Belega Eco-School Resident Artist Course Bali 2026

A small, practical resident artist programme where makers, designers, natural builders and creative people work alongside Balinese craftspeople to develop a living eco-school. Participants contribute to real building projects while exploring how traditional materials can support more inclusive community spaces.

What you will get attending the event

- Learn introductory bamboo handling, tool safety, joinery and practical building skills with the local team. - Explore project work that may include earth walls, lime floors, ecobricks, pathways, accessible bathrooms, landscaping or recycled materials, depending on site needs. - Take on a real creative or building question and document the learning through art, design, photography, writing or another medium. - Exchange ideas and learn from local craftspeople in a small group of up to four residents. - Share everyday community life, meals and collaborative site responsibilities, with time for creative reflection.
