Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Cool Event Asia at cooleventasia.com. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. The service

Cool Event Asia is a directory and discovery service for community events across Asia. We list events and help people find them. Unless we say otherwise on a page, we are not the organizer, venue or ticketing agent, and we do not run the events. The agreement for an event, including tickets, entry, cancellations and refunds, is between you and the organizer.

2. Accounts

• You sign in with an email address and a one-time code. Provide an address you control and keep access to it secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else is using it.
• Use one account for yourself and do not impersonate another person or organization.

3. Organizers

If you submit an event, you confirm that:

• You have the authority to list the event and the rights to the text, images and other content you provide.
• The details are accurate and kept up to date, including dates, location, prices, age limits and accessibility information.
• The event complies with applicable law, permits and safety requirements.
• You will honor the listing and tell us and attendees promptly if an event changes or is cancelled.
• You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, crop, resize, store and promote the listing on the site and on our social channels. You keep ownership of your content.

We may edit, reject or remove a listing that is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful or inconsistent with these terms. Paid listings and their prices are shown at checkout. Payment and refund handling is described at checkout and by the payment provider, together with any rights you have under applicable law.

4. Members and attendees

• Saved events, RSVPs, alerts and listings are information tools. They are not a ticket or a guarantee of entry unless a page says so.
• Reviews and other content you post must be honest, based on your own experience, and free of abuse, personal data about others, and spam.
• Pro access is granted for the period shown at checkout. It does not renew automatically unless the checkout says it does. Store purchases are also subject to the store's terms.
• Event alerts and Pro digests are optional. You can change your preferences or unsubscribe at any time.

5. Acceptable use

Do not:

• Break the law, promote violence or hatred, harass people, or post content that infringes someone else's rights.
• Submit false, misleading or duplicate listings, or list an event you are not authorized to list.
• Spam, scrape, crawl at a disruptive rate, use bots to create accounts, or attempt to bypass security or rate limits.
• Reverse engineer, copy or resell the service, or interfere with its operation.
• Upload malware or content that is harmful, obscene or designed to deceive.

6. Content and intellectual property

The site design, software, brand and original content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may use the site for its intended purpose. You may not copy or redistribute substantial parts of it without permission.

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give us the license described above so we can display and promote it. Feedback you send us may be used without restriction or payment.

7. Third-party links and services

The site links to organizer sites, ticket pages and social profiles. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep listings accurate, but we do not guarantee that an event will take place, that details are correct, or that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Organizers are responsible for their events and listings.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or from an event. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.

10. Indemnity

If you are an organizer or you submit content, you agree to indemnify us against claims and costs arising from your content, your event, or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove an account or listing, or restrict access, if we believe these terms have been broken or the service needs protection. You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account.

12. Changes

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the new version here with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Indonesia, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
